The Center for Cranial & Spinal Surgery (CCSS) began in the late 1980’s, as a merger of two highly respected neurosurgeons. Today, CCSS is one of the longest-established private neurosurgery specialty practice in Northern Virginia.
Dr. Hope brings a diversity and depth of training received from prestigious medical programs. Dr. Hope has exceptional skill in the latest, most innovative surgical techniques for neurological and spine disorders, including microsurgery, minimally invasive spine surgery, complex and comprehensive cervical spine surgery.
The majority of surgeries done at CCSS are spine surgeries. People are often surprised to learn that neurosurgeons perform spinal surgery, but neurosurgeons are, in fact, the true experts for spinal diseases of all kinds. Dr. Hope has received specialized training in neurological disorder diagnosis and treatment of the spine through a seven year residency – more surgical training than found in any other specialty. His extensive medical training and years of experience mean CCSS is unsurpassed in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders that affect the nervous system.
